IRVING, Texas -- Defensive tackle Terrell McClain had to watch last week's season opener against the San Francisco 49ers, but he anticipates making his Dallas Cowboys' debut Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.
McClain has been slowed most of the summer with a high ankle sprain but he was able to return to practice last week. He does not believe it will take a lot of time to get acclimated to game action, but he expects to be worked into the lineup slowly.

It’s easy to think that things should get easier for the Washington Redskins next week simply because they are playing one of last year’s basement-dwellers, the perpetually underwhelming Jacksonville Jaguars.
However, this version of the Jaguars could be better than last year’s 4-12 record suggests. Going into the season, Football Outsiders calculated the mean wins for every team, by simulating the 2014 season 10,000 times. Jacksonville’s mean wins number was 6.9, while Washington’s was 7.6.

The Pats were awarded second-year safety Don Jones on waivers from the Dolphins on Monday, the club said.
