Jacksonville Jaguars defensive ends Ryan Davis and Andre Branch should have asked former NFL wide receiver Joe Horn how to sneak a cell phone onto the field so they could properly celebrate a sack on Thursday night.
Davis sacked Atlanta Falcons quarterback T.J. Yates during the second quarter of the Jaguars' preseason finale. After the sack, Davis and Branch pretended to take a selfie in the end zone—while Yates was still getting up.
The Atlanta Falcons brought back a familiar face Thursday by signing wide receiver/special-teamer Eric Weems to a one-year contract.
Weems (5-9, 195) entered the NFL with the Falcons back in 2007 as an undrafted free agent from Bethune-Cookman. He spent five seasons with the team before signing with Chicago Bears in 2012.

Believing he had made good and earned a big-time role wasn’t what got Davis to his current situation. And even if he is one of the feel-good stories of Jaguars 2014 Training Camp, he’s not going to walk with that in his step.
